A reasonably valued aparthotel.

Location is very central to everything. The apartment was clean but did not have enough items to cater for 4 people in the kitchen. There are self laundering facilities: SGD $8 for wash and another SGD $8 for drier. That is open 0800 - 2300 There is a good sized pool, with an additional toddler wading pool and spa. Towels are provided, open 0800 - 2200 Gym is adequate, although there are no hand towels provided, which would have been better than using the swimming towels. Front desk is staffed on limited hours.

The beds were super squeaky and made noises every time we moved. The smell from the restaurant at reception permeated through the lifts.

Return guest. Good location. Renewed furnishings while undergoing upgrading works.

I am a return guest. Furniture in the living room was refreshed, with new wall-mounted flat screen TV and sofa cushions. New air conditioners. Large fridge. Excellent walk-in wardrobe. Higher floor was assigned to me as requested. Awesome swimming pool and built a love-hate relationship with the resident crows who drop by for the occasional dip by the pool.

The clip for the showerhead was faulty so I could not shower "hands-free". The heat radiated from the induction cooker could be felt from the surrounding area, so it is not wise to put your oil and condiments by the side. Lift doors had no censors so it would shut its doors in your face before you enter if you allow someone to alight from the lift first. Perhaps one thing that could have been done better was the transparent communication of whether the serviced residence was being used to house "stay-at-home" individuals for the COVID-19, or stranded Malaysians due to the lockdown. As a guest, I believe I have the right to know the safety precautions that the service residence has taken, as well as the required measures I can take personally. Designated hotels are slowly being disclosed through social media so it is no use trying to hide behind the veil of a "hotel policy" - if you have not learnt from the news, the virus does not care about your nationality, race, age, gender, nor your "hotel policy". So I felt it could have been better to communicate the presence of such individuals so we can all play a part to fight this pandemic. This is not about personal data as I was not asking for them, nor was I asking for which floors they are staying at. The thing that puzzled me was the fact that a late check-out request was denied as the service residence was at "full occupancy". At a time when there are no tourists or short-term pass visitors in Singapore due to COVID-19, this was a deadly giveaway. Thankfully, I did not come across any individual when using the swimming pool except for one, and I had minimal contact with anyone in transient areas (e.g., lobby & lift).

Great Location and Good Value for Singapore.

I looked at a number of locations around Singapore online, but once I arrived and saw several of them in person - I was very happy I’d chosen to stay in the Bencoolen area. You’re close to four different metro stations, connecting you to many lines for getting around. There are two excellent CS grocery stores nearby, and having a kitchen (with microwave), table and chair to drink your morning coffee and eat, and a washing machine inside the hotel are huge pluses! (The hotel washing machine costs less than the local laundromat. And I actually walked to most sights, many are just a short walk away.) It was nice to have a separate living room, you’re definitely getting more space here for your money. The bathroom was great, lots of storage and counter space along with a larger enclosed shower, excellent hot water and good towels. There’s a drying rack and ironing board, and a small walk in closet in the bedroom. Staff members were very helpful and always quick to acknowledge you.

Unfortunately, all hotels in Singapore seem overpriced for what you get. Given that situation, this was a pretty good value, but for the amount of money per night, I certainly expected a better mattress. I’d just spent three months traveling through SE Asia, Malaysia and then Singapore, and experienced far too many cheap, hard, uncomfortable mattresses. I’d finally lucked out with a better, and more restful mattress in Melaka - so was very surprised to get another uncomfortably hard mattress at a hotel presenting itself as higher end. At the very least, put a mattress topper on to provide better sleep! (The sheets and comforter were fine, the mattress felt like a one star hotel.)

Great value for money, good location.

Great location - close to MRT and bus stops, large 2 bedroom apartment perfect for families. Full kitchen facilities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

It was a shame the playground was closed for renovations and there was some noise and disruption as a result of the renovations , but we were advised of this prior to our arrival and decided to continue with our booking.

Quiet apartments in a fantastic location.

Very central location between Bugis, City Hall and Doby Ghaut. Also, across the road from Bencoolen MRT station, so it's very easy to get the MRT from the airport. Apartments are old, but updated and large by Singapore standards and a very good price. Also, no noise when you want to sleep. The pool on the roof is fantastic. For the price, this is a great choice.

You can't cast your device to the television, which would be a great bonus.

Good location, not far from the tubestation. Good flat . Great with the roof-top pool with views over Singapore skyline. Nice view from room also.

Satisfactory and value for money. Better if they had informed us on the renovations before booking.

Checking in was smooth and reception was very polite and friendly. Room was clean and has everything that you need like proper utensils and dinnerware. Location is perfect with taxi stand right outside the property and eateries all around. Mrt station right outside the building and a bus stops 3 minutes walk away. All staff that we encountered were warm, polite and friendly. From the security to the chamber maid.

The room was a tad old with aircon not functioning properly in one of the room, not so much like the photos online. There were renovations and upgrading going on but was only informed after we booked (no cancellation) the room. We were informed that drilling should be expected from 10.00 am - 6.00 pm but it went on till around 6.45 pm on both Friday and Saturday. It was difficult to rest especially with an infant. Only one elevator working so we had to wait esp on weekday morning.

Location is ideal.

Be warned that the property is undergoing HEAVY refurbishment from 10/01/20 to the ‘third quarter of 2020’ As far as I am aware this is NOT mentioned on booking.com before you book. You will only be advised of this after making the booking in an email directly by the hotel. While this does not negatively impact the comfort of the rooms, it does mean only 1 elevator is available for the whole hotel and the pool area is functional but under major refurbishment. It’s a little cheeky that nothing is mentioned before you book.
